SUITABLE FOR ALL AREAS.
YOUR LOCAL CONCRETER, NORTHERN BEACHES
These are only a few of the many areas to feature our decorative concrete finishes.
The team at Mason Concreting can work with you to create a stunning design that will add value and beauty to your home or business.

Concrete Patio Contractors
Patios are one of the most common locations for decorative concreting. A well-designed patio may be exactly what you need to unwind or entertain guests. We can produce distinctive forms and patterns using our unique Con-Form formwork that surpasses the normal concrete formwork's standard.

Decorative Concrete Driveway Contractors
Decorative concrete is also a popular driveway option. It may give your home personality and flair while also enduring significant traffic. We can make different patterns and even use different colors to create a unique look based on your preferences.

Concrete Pool Surrounds
Decorative concrete is becoming increasingly popular for producing unique architectural features. You may personalise your pool's appearance with a wide range of decorative concrete mixes to match the style of your home. Honed, exposed aggregate, coloured or grey concrete can all be used to create the perfect pool surround. However, we believe that honed concrete is the best option here. We are able to create seamless pool edges and surrounds using only concrete as one of the few installers in Sydney utilising the PoolEdge System formwork. This system can be installed on either fiberglass or concrete swimming pools. From inception to completion, our custom-honed concrete pool surrounds are taken care of with Mason Concreting - no need to engage additional contractors.

Things to Consider
The first thing to consider when selecting the right decorative concrete mix is the look you want to achieve. Do you prefer a sleek and modern aesthetic or something more rustic? How can we utilise the form of the land naturally? Another aspect to consider when choosing the ideal mix is whether it blends in well with the surrounding aesthetics. Think about how the colour complements or contrasts with the current architecture, landscaping designs, etc.
If you’re not sure what texture and colour to use for your property on the Northern Beaches, our team of experts at Mason Concreting can help. We’ve worked with many customers over the years, so we know how to best match each client’s individual tastes when it comes to deciding on a finish.

FAQs.
BEFORE CHOOSING THE RIGHT DECORATIVE CONCRETE CONTRACTORS
What does the installation procedure like?
We can handle the whole installation procedure in-house at Mason Concreting. This includes any earthwork activities such as removing previous concrete, formwork and steel installation, and concrete finishing. We also make sure that saw cuts are completed within 24 hours of the concrete being poured to reduce the risk of fractures in the concrete. If honed concrete is required, our staff will complete the honing several weeks after the concrete has been poured.
Is it necessary to seal my new decorative concrete?
We strongly advise sealing the area to ensure protection and longevity for your new concrete if you use colored concrete or exposed aggregate. The procedure is straightforward and generally takes two days to complete. To allow enough time for the concrete to cure, sealing is usually completed 28 days after the concrete has been poured.
What is the distinction between exposed aggregate and honed concrete?
Honed concrete has a smooth, matte surface due to the area being ground down by a grinder two weeks after the concrete is poured.
Exposed aggregate is comparable to honed concrete in that the stones are exposed. However, a textured surface is produced by applying a special chemical called prime exposure, which is rinsed off the next day following the concrete pour.
In each case, a decorative concrete mix from one of our two suppliers, Geostone or Ablestone, is used during the concrete installation process. The mix that is chosen will have an impact on how the concrete looks at the end.
Is it simple enough to keep decorative concrete clean?
Decorative concrete is not only beautiful, but it is also simple to maintain. All that is needed is a good sweep and a hose down. A deep high pressure clean and reapplication of sealer may be done every few years for long-term maintenance.
I'm looking to get some decorative concrete installed, and I'm wondering what sorts of mixes are available?
There are a number of decorative concrete mixes to choose from. Geostone and Ablestone are our two suppliers – Contact us today for their latest colour charts
How long will it take to put the decorative concrete project completed?
Depending on the size of the area, the duration of the project can range from four to five days, including any earthworks. If concrete sealing is required, it will be done at a later stage after the area has settled and can take one to two days.
Is it possible to have decorative concrete at a low cost?
The cost per m2 of decorative concrete is usually lower than that of other materials such as cobblestones and pavers, which necessitate the installation of a concrete blinding slab. The price per m2 for decorative concrete will be determined by the client’s desired concrete mix.
Do you service my area?
